About Us
Agri-Seed Co is a Joint Venture between Saro Africa International and Seed Co West Africa. The company aims to triple the yield of farmers in Nigeria by 2025 through the introduction of high-yielding hybrid seeds adapted to the ecology of Nigeria. We have contributed immensely to improving the yield and livelihoods of thousands of farmers in Nigeria. The company has a 1000Ha land in Kaduna used for its R&D and production efforts. The company’s goal is in line with the current efforts of FGN to boost agricultural productivity, create employment opportunities, enhance rural farmer’s income and deliver food security.
As a premium brand, Seed Co has transformed the national yield average from 2 MT/HA to 7 MT/HA, significantly enhancing farmers’ productivity and livelihoods.
Seed Co Nigeria leads the hybridization agenda with high yielding climate-smart seed varieties tailored to Nigeria’s diverse ecologies.
All Seed Co Nigeria seeds are certified by the National Agricultural Seed Council (NASC) and can be authenticated by farmers using the Seed Codex on the packaging.
Our seeds offer a wide range of field crop varieties suitable for every ecological zone in Nigeria.
